Car Health Tips

As a car enthusiast, I always get angry with street drivers because of some annoying practices while driving. To the extent that it gets easy to tell whether the driver is the owner of the car or he/she is just enjoying the ride.
Therefore I wish to bring to your attention that there are some things that we can do to keep our cars in good condition and for a long time which do not need a mechanic.

Air Condition
The first thing that will keep your car safe and clean, is a functioning air conditioning system. With our dusty roads, I encourage you to always drive with all windows closed. Dust entering our cars prevents some systems from functioning normally or even failing, e.g AC, the central lock, and radio buttons etc. Some people think driving with AC consumes a lot of fuel, TRUE but it also depends on the car size or horsepower and poor driving practices. Some drivers what to drive cars of CC:1500 like Subaru of CC:2500.
All in all, the extra expense on fuel while driving with AC on is minor and ignorable compared to the damage dust can cause to your car in the long run.

Changing of Drivers
We all love cars for different reasons and also know the excitement that comes with sitting behind the steering wheel. I often see reckless drivers and most of them are first-time owners or have borrowed the car… Some people don’t know the value of the car and what it takes to maintain it, so they don’t attach respect to it. So if you want to keep your car for long, regulate the drivers.

Timely Servicing
This is another key aspect to pay attention to. Always do car service in time, these may include changing oil(s), checking on plugs, checking on AC, Tyre pressure, wheel balancing, alignment etc
Because the car is moving does not mean it is fit to move – it is always good to pay attention to any unusual noise or behavior in your car. This will save you from breaking down on the read.

Be mindful of the fuels you use in your car. Some fuels have dust and with time they create blockages in the car system. You will start to realize changes in car sound and functioning.
